Resorts xylofagou

Xylofagou translates to woodeaters  is a small village situated in between Larnaca and Paralimni / Protaras. It is only about 20minutes from Larnaca centre and 10minutes from Ayia Napa, Ayia Thekla, Sotera and Liopetri. It is also only 20minutes to Paralimni, Protaras, Kapparis, Cape Greco and Pernera so it is very central.The village is becomming more popular with expats due to the low pricing of properties and location of the village.

In the summer the most amazing sites happen at Xylofagou beach, the culture comes alive. The village people bring tents and caravans and camp overlooking the sea, you will see families gathering together, laughing and joking, children playing and BBQ sizzling away in the background. Ramps will be made in to the sea like diving boards. Men will play tavli, the same as backgammon, dancing and BBQs are the main events.
