Unless otherwise stated in the sale contract, you must pay stamp duty fees. Cyprus Stamp Duty fees are £CY 1.5 per thousand of the value up to £CY 100,000. Over this amount the fees are £CY 2.0 per thousand. To avoid having to pay a fine, the documents must be stamped within 30 days after signing.
